South Shore Passport

Conference attendees enjoy a meal on the Tahoe Blue Event Center lawn.

Beginning in September, LTVA is launching the South Shore Passport: a way for businesses to attract conference attendees to dine or play during their down time by providing an offer. For example, restaurant partners can give either a flat discount or a free appetizer or drink; activity partners can offer a discount or free add-on. Once we’ve gathered information from partners, we will have the offers compiled into a digital map so that visitors can check out options and plan their free time, or added bleisure days, to explore all that Tahoe has to offer. Sign up will take place through our Partner Portal. If you read this and are interested in participating, let us know and we’ll make sure you receive the invite to either register for the Passport, or to create a login for the Partner Portal and to then register for the new Passport program.

On June 16, the Tahoe Knight Monsters and Tahoe Blue Event Center teams hosted a mascot, jersey, and NHL affiliation release event at Bally’s Lake Tahoe. The Knight Monsters are now officially affiliated with the Golden Knights of Las Vegas (NHL) and the Silver Knights of Henderson (AHL). Miss Nevada and Miss Nevada Teen were in attendance along with many locals eager to score some of the first merchandise from the new team, which included jerseys, stickers, hockey pucks and more. There was also a digital media blast to support the release, including this sizzle video on YouTube.
