FREE Microtransit Service

Lake Link Van

The free, on-demand rideshare microtransit service, Lake Link, officially launched on Friday, July 22, and is already transporting residents and visitors within their service area, which includes Lower Kingsbury, the Stateline casino corridor, and west to Al Tahoe Boulevard and Pioneer Trail.

The app-based service, similar to Uber or Lyft, uses 9-12 passenger vans to provide free rides 365 days a year from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm (10:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays during peak months) and offers dedicated ADA-accessible vans as well as bike racks for users to access trails, beaches, entertainment, or simply run errands around the south shore of Lake Tahoe.
