South Shore Passport

Beginning in September, we are launching the South Shore Passport, a way for businesses to attract conference attendees to dine or play during their downtime by providing an offer. For example, restaurant partners can offer a flat discount or a free appetizer or drink, and activity partners can offer a discount or free add-on.

We anticipate the most traction for offers in the 15-25% off range. Prefix menus at a set price for group dining will also be popular choices. Most conference guests will be staying in the Stateline casino area, so businesses in the vicinity that provide group dining and activities, and allow for reservations, will receive the most business through this initiative.

Here are a few examples of similar programs in other destinations:

Visit Seattle’s Digital Savings Passport

Visit San Antonio’s Show Us Your Badge

Visit Lauderdale’s Loyalist Passport

Once we’ve gathered information from partners, we will have the offers compiled into a digital map so that visitors can check out options and plan their free time or added bleisure days. Sign-up will take place through our Partner Portal. If you read this and are interested in participating, let us know, and we’ll make sure you receive the invite to either register for the Passport or to create a login for the Partner Portal and then register for the new Passport program.

We look forward to facilitating scheduling for our meeting visitors and helping them make the most of their time in Tahoe.

Here’s how to sign up for the South Shore Passport:
As many of you have been asking already, the partner portal will be where you can find upcoming Tahoe Blue Event conference schedules as they become available so that you can staff accordingly as needed. We’ll be sending invitations and information for onboarding to this platform, for those not yet included, in September.
