Happy New Year!

Welcome to the January edition of the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority’s South Shore Bulletin. We aim to highlight tourism trends, strategies, initiatives, and programs that increase visitor awareness, support our community and environment, and strengthen our economy.

May the 2023-24 winter season bring great commerce to our destination! The year starts with the LTVA hosting Operation Sierra Storm, a meteorologist conference that garners national live coverage of our winter season product. Weidinger Public Relations provides story ideas and scenic video locations that result in unique content that drives impressive exposure for the destination.  https://ltva.org/operation-sierra-storm-meteorologist-conference/

Brady McIntyre and Ryn Muat

The LTVA is pleased to welcome two new staff members:
Brady McIntyre – Marketing & Events Manager, brady@visitlaketahoe.com.

Brady McIntyre was born and raised right here in South Lake Tahoe. Shortly after graduating from San Diego State with a communications degree, he began work in the film industry, working on shows and movies like Top Gun: Maverick and The Bachelorette. Brady is excited to bring the experience he gained from the film industry to Visit Lake Tahoe’s marketing and events team and is thrilled to help promote our beautiful home.

Ryn Muat – Communications & Community Outreach Manager, ryn@visitlaketahoe.com

Ryn Muat brings her passion for marketing, event management, and community-building to our team. A lifelong mountain lover and environmental advocate, she is excited to support LTVA’s mission of leading the industry in sustainable tourism practices. With a degree in creative writing from San Francisco State, she will contribute her wordsmithing skills as well. Now in her seventh Tahoe winter, she knows this is home and can’t wait to support and embrace our stakeholders and community.
