LTVA was invited to present at Visit California’s September Destination Mixer. These mixers serve to familiarize Visit California staff with destinations around the state and to encourage them to visit. The mixer was attended by 80 Visit California staff members. We highlighted seasonal activities, the South Shores culinary scene, local sustainability initiatives, and all the best our region has to offer. Jenna Brown, Marketing Manager for South Lake Brewing Company, also attended, serving beer samples and a light appetizer. We featured Woods Apothecary’s rose milk latte and turmeric latte, as well as donut holes from TV Donuts.

Visit California Exchange Platform open to California and Nevada businesses

Visit California is introducing a new B2B digital marketplace called Tourism Exchange, that connects local tourism businesses with a diverse marketplace of OTAs, travel distributors, and domestic and international buyers. The goal of this program is to help businesses increase distribution, online visibility, and sales of bookable accommodations, attractions, tours, and experiences. These services are available through the Exchange with no upfront costs and no ongoing subscriptions required.

This platform expands online distribution and helps offline businesses become bookable online for the first time. The Tourism Exchange supports local businesses with overall exposure to a domestic and international audience. It can be turned on and off as needed, and thus can be utilized only when business levels are not at peak.
