Your input is needed to inform two separate but connected transportation planning efforts: The Active Transportation Plan and the Vision Zero Safety Strategy.

Active transportation for us means walking, biking, or rolling (wheelchair, scooters, roller skates, etc.) around Lake Tahoe for transportation purposes. The TRPA is seeking your feedback on how we can best support the region in building out our active transportation network, support those who are looking to commute or access recreation without a personal vehicle, and help provide safe infrastructure for people of all ages, abilities, incomes, and backgrounds. Learn more about the Active Transportation Plan.

Vision Zero is a region wide planning effort aiming to eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries, while increasing safe, healthy, and equitable mobility for all. This survey seeks to understand the community’s traffic safety concerns within the region, whether you are driving, taking transit, biking, or walking. Learn more about Vision Zero.
