- Stuart Maas, Senior Director of Marketing & Business Development, attended the Smart Meetings Incentive Experience in August to engage with leading meeting planners and position Lake Tahoe as a premier incentive and group destination. The event provided 25 one-on-one appointments with qualified buyers, networking opportunities, and exposure to the latest research on incentive travel, personalization, and attendee engagement trends.
- Cameron Wiebe, Group Sales & Services Manager, recently attended the ASAE Annual Meeting with Visit California, connecting with association professionals from across the United States. On the tradeshow floor, Cameron engaged with attendees, sharing all that South Lake Tahoe has to offer for conferences and events. While there, Cameron also joined the Associations West reception, giving him a chance to network with industry peers from the West Coast.
- Maas and Wiebe attended Connect Marketplace with representatives from the Tahoe Blue Event Center and Terramar. Maas met with 34 corporate and sports planners, and Wiebe connected with 36 association planners. Visit Lake Tahoe gained exposure as this year’s bag and planner gift sponsor, and strategically placed their booth beside the gifting lounge. Wiebe and Maas also promoted Connect West, hosted in South Lake Tahoe this October.
